Aims & Objectives
We support parents to recognize the needs of their child through example and demonstration, education, observation and positive encouragement.
Our aim is to balance the need for child protection with the freedom and human rights of the parents. We provide this with our multi-skilled team's flexible response to the needs of individual clients, developing programs and care plans that cover all aspects of parenting, protection and social skills.
The New Level of Life focus on community assessments to enable parent and child to remain together in a safe environment and where the staff team will work together in the promotion of parenting and basic life skills.
The New Level of Life considers that every child has the right to expect a level of parenting adequate to meet that child’s physical, emotional and social needs and it is within this remit that parents are assessed.
The assessment process benefits both parents and children and is a structured approach for the preparation of reports requested by the referral agents, to be used within Court proceedings.
The New Level of Life actively promotes equal opportunities for all, believing that every person has the right to freedom from any level of discrimination. Our staff provides a supportive advocacy role to parents and work hard to develop relationships based on trust and honesty.
The New Level of Life ensures safety is taken seriously and the well-being of the child is always our paramount concern.
The New Level of Life offers integrated services to a high standard, based around the families’ own home or in our contact center.
The New Level of Life community-based assessments are designed to ensure the level of disruption to the child is minimised.
